A Goalie’s Adventures

School this year has been a fun one. I love all my classes, some more than others, but i still like them all. The most boring class of the day is first block… Social Studies. The teacher is Coach Schrimsher. All he does is talk and talk and talk. Second block is English with Mrs. Combs… never want to get her mad (mainly because she’s pregnant). Advanced Language by the way. Third block is Honors Algebra 1. Teacher is mr. Pahman. He’s a good teacher because he works out the problems with us, and then we do a problem, then he gives a problem that’s REALY hard, and then he lets one of us work it out on the board and then he corrects us. Fourth block is the best. I have P.E. with Mrs. Cornelison. She’s the nicest and awsomest gym teacher out of all 3. Then I have drama with Mrs. Buchanan. She’s the best teacher mainly because it’s drama. Acting and being silly is what she does. It’s all we do in her class. Well, school’s been fun this year and we only have a few months left ’till we’re out and it’s SUMMER!!! Only a few more weeks until we move also!!!!! The house looks divine!!!!!

Last week on Sunday, I decided I was tired of all the hair in my face. So I did something about it. I took the 1 inch guide on the hair cutters, and did away with all the crap in my eyes. it looks alot better now in my opinion. Also on my mom’s opinion and some people at school. i have no pictures of it, but you’ll see it soon enough.

Soccer season is here and I am so excited. I had my first practice Thursday and my knees were jacked up from cutting so much. Our coach does lots of drills with cutting and racing and stuff like that. I have one person I know on my team. I think my team is going to do good this year.

This summer I have been riding my bike a lot until the accident. I was racing with a few of my friends. We decided to check out the course first. I was halfway done with the course when my foot slipped off the pedal. My foot was scraped up badly and i almost got a concussion. Now its almost all healed up. The bump on my head has been reduced from an egg to a skittle. my foot is scabbed over and will heal fully within the month.

The 4th of July was awesome. i got to light a few fireworks that were big. A few of the artillery shells didn’t light the first or second time. I guess third time is the charm. I almost got hit with a few because i wasn’t far back enough. That ended my night of lighting says my parents. I was doing fine. other than that riding the 4 wheeler was fun. Both of them. The small one hurt more through trenches but still it was fun. The whole celebration was fun considering I just got back from scout camp. That was rough.

Scout Camp was rough. there were tons of steep uphill well hills. the classes were so far apart and i think i lost about a pound or two going from class to class. The food was not that good. The pancakes were stale the eggs were runny the “ribs” were boneless stuff that didn’t even taste like ribs. Other than that it was fun. I took swimming, canoeing, shotgun, trap and skeet shoot, and archery. I only got swimming. I don’t know how i did not get canoeing, I did every requirement. i did not qualify for archery or shotgun, and trap and skeet shoot was just for fun. I tried to climb the Iceberg, but i got halfway up and fell every time. The Blob was fun. I launched someone off of it and he was a really scronny kid so you know where this is headed. The Teacher’s Quorum said I had “un-Deaconliness” and I hung out with them. The Deacon’s Quorum said I was a traitor. but honestly when we (me, Brigham, Preston) played against them they whined about everything when we scored and still schooled them 7-3. We even took a point away and still beat them. They complained about Preston having momentum and running into the in zone. Whatever. Well that was my scout camp.

The other day in Math class, we had the laptops. I was waiting for my teacher to give us the instruction. I went on to a website and found this really cool game called Cube Field. Two weeks ago, we got invited to play in the area tourneys. We ended up losing both games in shutouts, but it was awsome to get out and play again. the first team we played looked like they were in U16. They were as tall as Josh is. The second team we played before and threw them around like trash. This time, we got thrown around like trash. The last game we got to choose our positions because we weren’t going on anyways. It was really fun. Me and Megan are thinking about playing indoor soccer. We have never done that so we wanted to try it.

Go Falcons. On the way to our hotel in Atlanta, we made a little pit-stop to the Georgia Dome.

First we went to the observation boothe where the offense & defenseive coordinators sit and call the plays.

Next, we went to the  luxury suites. Those suites are 4,000 a seat.

Next, we went to the place where the reporters and news writers sit.

Finally we went down to the feild. People where doing something on the feild, so we could not go far.

We also went into the Falcons locker room. Apparently, the away locker rooms are painted pink and purple.

Eventually, it ended. Me and my brother had a race across this feild that was shaped like a footbal. From fountain to fountain was 100 yrds.

Well, it was the best Atlanta trip ever.
